Vice President Kamala Harris dressed colorfully for Independence Day this weekend.
For a July 4 visit with Second Gentleman Douglas Emhoff to Los Angeles Fire Department Station 19 in the Brentwood neighborhood, Harris dressed in patriotic hues of red, white and blue. The VP wore a casual ensemble of a white t-shirt and blue jeans, layered over a crisp navy blazer, one of her style signatures. She accessorized with classic pearl earrings, as well as an American flag lapel pin and a delicate gold and blue pendant necklace.
On the shoe side, Harris donned a pair of bright red leather moccasins. The classic style featured almond toe and cropped heels, along with their iconic front straps. Harris’s shoe choice was a new addition to his usual line, which often includes point-toe pumps in sleek, neutral tones.
Harris and Emhoff greeted many of the crew on their surprise visit to Station 19, which included plenty of time to take photos together. The crew of Station 19 were notably among the thousands of firefighters who fought the Getty Fire in Los Angeles in 2019.
Harris’ style typically includes power combinations, often from top brands like Carolina Herrera and Dolce and Gabbana. Her blazer retained the same chic nature, while being lightly dressed for the laid back vacation with jeans and a t-shirt, which are also a staple in the versatile wardrobe anytime of the year. When it comes to shoes, the VP frequently wears a range of styles outside of her staple pumps. She often opts for pairs of Converse All Star sneakers, as well as Prada ankle boots, Timberland work boots, etc.
