Felix the Cat x Levi’s Rework Collegiate Wear

First making his debut in the 1919 short film Feline Follies, Felix the Cat was the first animated character popular enough to attract movie audiences.

The mischievous cat did it all with a giant smile and always managed to get himself into trouble thanks to his magic tail and bag of tricks. Over the past century, Felix has become a domestic icon, appearing not only in movies and comics, but also as a muse and mascot for sodas, professional sports teams, a sculpture by Daniel Arsham, and even a bomb squadron. active US Navy nicknamed the “Tomcatters.”

For the Felix the Cat collaboration, Levi’s takes a playful approach, incorporating elements of the Felix brand into retro-inspired collegiate clothing. Highlights include the varsity jacket with leather sleeves and faded denim body, relaxed straight-leg jeans with a co-branded black jacron and varsity blue pennon on the back pocket, and a two-tone denim duffel bag with striped handles. Other items include short and long sleeve rugby shirts, hoodies, crew neck sweaters, tees, belts, mosaic print cardigans and a bright multi-colored bob.
