I live in LA and my daughter is in New York: here are the fall trends we wear

Melissa Meyers and her daughter, Rachel Meyers, lived in New York City with their family before they all moved to Los Angeles (where they have lived for years now). Well, Rachel recently returned to NYC, but no matter what coast they are on, Meyers women share similar sartorial sensitivities. So on that note, we thought it might be intriguing to find out which fall trends they both like to wear between the ribs. “Rachel and I have similar style tastes (hers is bolder and mine more bohemian), and we love a lot of the same trends,” Melissa said.

The tendencies in question are all easy to wear and work for those moving urban lifestyles. We’re talking about pieces like faux leather separate pieces and versatile matching sets.

Keep scrolling for a range of style references shot between LA and New York and when Melissa visited Rachel in town. There are also shopping choices if you’re looking for more fall inspiration.
