There is no celebrity couple who loves Halloween more than Kourtney kardashian and Travis Barker. Now that the couple are engaged, they presented their first holiday costumes on October 22, as doomed Sex Pistols bassist Sid Vicious and his girlfriend, Nancy Spungen.
In the Instagram photo series, Travis, 45, had his neck tattoos covered and pale makeup applied to appear as the late Englishman. He also donned a spiked brunette wig to match Sid’s hair. Blink-182’s drummer wore a black T-shirt with a black leather jacket, and accessorized with a silver collar with spikes, as well as a lock on the end of a chain, which Sid himself wore frequently. The health-conscious rocker completed the look with an unlit cigarette hanging from his mouth.
Kourtney, 42, donned a curly platinum blonde wig like Nancy. She went with a rocker chic outfit with a black bra with a sheer mesh t-shirt over it. Kourt wore black leather pants with a series of heavy black and silver belts around her tiny waist.
Unlike Nancy’s oft-disheveled look, Kourtney had entirely glamorous makeup and looked like a total rock goddess. She captioned the photo: “Until death do us part.” The actual couple had a rather dramatic end, as Nancy was found dead from a stabbing in the couple’s bedroom at the Chelsea Hotel in New York City in October 1978. Sid died of a heroin overdose. at the age of 21 in 1979, pending trial. for his murder.
This is just the first of what will likely be many Halloween couples costumes for the newly engaged couple. Kourtney always starts celebrating the holidays at the start of October, decorating her home with lots of skeletons and skulls, along with festive pumpkins and other flourishes. She also turned her entire dining room into a haunted feast, with rotten fake heads under glass, hidden crows, dying roses in dark vases, plenty of cobwebs, and skeleton guests in the chairs.
Travis is such a fan of the scary vacations that his marriage to his ex-wife Shanna moakler was based around Tim Burton ‘Halloween animated classic s The nightmare before Christmas. The musician wore the black and white pinstripe costume of the film’s protagonist, Jack Skellington, and the color scheme for the ceremony was black, white and red. The couple even got married on October 30, 2004, it was the eve of Halloween!
