Season 5 of “The Resident” will feature action heroine Cade
Elkoff told TVLine that Ronayne’s character will become an “action heroine” in the second half of The resident Season 5. He described Cade as “mysterious” and “guarded about his past”. Like many Chastain physicians, Cade has his own unique methods and approaches to treating patients. She has a rational side, but she’s also not afraid to do anything bold.
The showrunner didn’t say exactly how Cade’s presence would affect Chastain and his colleagues. However, Elkoff teased that the character would “help us make one of those thriller arcs that we’ve done in the past.”
Elkoff added that he can already tell viewers that they will have “strong feelings” about Cade.
“She’s going to get a lot of attention while trying to keep a low profile, which is sometimes complicated,” he said. “I just imagine the audience is going to have very strong feelings – a lot of theories and a lot of predictions.”
Cade could become a new love for Conrad Hawkins
The last moments of The resident Episode 5 of Season 5 introduces a major twist: the show moves forward three years. Conrad may begin a romance with Cade, or maybe Nic’s close friend Billie (Jessica Lucas).
“We’re going to try to tell stories in a way, in the future, where the audience will go, ‘It will be her. Wait, no! I think it’s gonna be her. No, wait a minute. I bet you it’s gonna be her, ‘”Elkoff said, per Yahoo. “We’re going to try to spice up the episodes with moments of connection and collaboration and emotional moments with different people, where you feel like you’ve seen the start of something, and you can be right, or you can have it. wrong.”
