To date, Balenciaga’s Le Cagole bag has conquered the world.
Personally, I love it so much that I have two – one in pink and one in bright yellow – and I’m certainly not the only one with an affinity for the it-bag.
It’s been spotted on Kendall Jenner, Alexa Demie, Hailey Bieber, Dua Lipa and pretty much every celebrity you can think of, as well as in the label’s campaign with Kim Kardashian, and it’s also been a label bestseller. .
Inspired by Balenciaga’s extensive archives and famous motorcycle bag, Le Cagole captures the house’s history through the lens of creative director Demna, and it’s safe to say it’s not the brand’s first bag. which will go viral.
To celebrate its success and popularity, Balenciaga has put together a pop-up store experience that’s visual overload – pink fur walls, floors, tables – basically everything is covered in pink! The pink display only features Le Cagole bags in different colors, materials and sizes, and customers can purchase a bag and personalize it with stamped or crystal-encrusted initials.
There’s something for everyone, and if you don’t want to invest in a bag yet, there are also wallets, card holders and other items from the Le Cagole line.
The pop-up experience is set to open in multiple locations around the world, and so far we’ve seen the London space all over social media. If you are looking to visit it is located on Mount Street and is open until May 8th.
For those who say that the Cagole is just a trend, they are wrong. The bag is what we would call a “future vintage” and is a catalyst for Balenciaga’s leather bags and accessories, which will only become more popular from here.
