1. New 2U

Even among the thrift stores, New2U is considered one of the most affordable of the lot. You’ll find clothes, shoes, accessories and even household items from the low price of $1and they even have regular half-price promotions to cut costs even further.

This charity thrift store is run entirely by volunteers and all proceeds go to the Singapore Council of Women’s Organizations (SCWO) – all the more reason to shop there, because it will be for a good cause!

2. The Fashion Chair

The fashion chair is not your typical thrift store. Instead, it focuses on swapping, meaning you trade in your old clothes for credits which you can then spend on pre-loved clothes in the store – making it a great way to not only get new cheap clothes, but also to get rid of clothes you no longer wear.

Their selection is quite extensive, and you’ll find everything from casual summer dresses to formal workwear, and even some party wear. Plus, they refresh their inventory every two weeks so there’s always something new to discover.

Another advantage is that they have fitting rooms in their store, which few thrift stores have.

To Function Five Thriftshopyou will find vintage items usually priced between $5 and $25but the store also has a stack of free clothes that you can help yourself.

Additionally, they also run regular promotions offering free sweatshirts, jackets, and t-shirts with every purchase, which makes shopping here even more worthwhile.

The shop also supports people with autism by providing employment and training, and proceeds are intended to support people with special needs and families in need.

5. Lucky Plaza Bazaar

Here you’ll find racks and shelves of all kinds of clothing, with most items priced between $2 and $10. Whether you’re looking for vintage y2k fashion or a cottagecore outfit, chances are you can find it there.

To Reflash, you will find well-known brands such as Love Bonito, Topshop and Zalora, but for a fraction of the price. Prices start at $5which is a godsend especially since the clothes are all like new.

If you prefer the convenience of shopping online instead of having to physically browse shelves, Refash is also Singapore’s largest online thrift store, although it also has several physical locations.

7. MINDS Shop

Sell ​​clothes, accessories, decorative items and even furniture, SPIRITS shop is the place to go for great finds at low prices.

You will be supported by friendly staff with special needs from the Movement for the Intellectually Disabled Singapore (MINDS), and all proceeds will go to MINDS interns as a stipend.

8. HonsiePonsie

Thrift shopping can be tricky if you’re a man, as many stores only have a small selection of men’s clothing. Fortunately, there is HonsiePonsiea thrift store focused on second-hand men’s clothing, so that men also have a place to buy second-hand clothes.

You’ll find a carefully curated selection of vintage jackets, shirts, cargo pants and other pieces. Prices generally range from $15 at $35which is considerably affordable for good quality vintage clothing.

Bonus points at the store for added convenience – they have three physical outlets in the North, West and East, plus Carousell and Instagram listings for those days when you don’t want to physically sift through items .

All proceeds from the store go to Cornerstone Community Services, so your money will fund various wellness programs.

This is Singapore’s largest thrift store, and it lives up to its mega store name. Here, you’ll find everything from clothes and books to furniture and electronics.

The shop also has fitting rooms, so you can try on clothes before you buy – and they certainly have tons of great clothes. People have found all kinds of clothes here, from vintage leather jackets to old wedding and ball gowns.

Plus, the shop is run by the Salvation Army, so proceeds go to a good cause.
