Booming brand Todd Patrick is back with another standout collection. This time, for Spring/Summer 2023, the brand has turned to the past.
Brand partners Desyree Nicole and Gabriella Paulino have managed to keep TP at the forefront of the new school of fashion, combining a clean fit with innovative craftsmanship. And their predictions for SS23 focus on a laid-back aesthetic that includes a boxy-cut leather shorts set, wide-leg pants with mesh overlay, cropped boxy jackets, and mesh tank tops.
With an understated color palette of brown, blue and moss green, TP’s latest offerings help reveal refined stitching and intricate fabric layering in every design. Focusing on the brand’s early days – circa 2016 – the collection and campaign is aptly titled ‘Small Town, Big Dreams’, with Nicole and Paulino looking back on the early days that fueled TP’s development.
The brand’s creative director, Nicole (originally from Michigan), says the new collection is “an ode to all the small town kids who dream bigger than the street they grew up on.”
“I love what we’ve done with this one – storytelling being key. [We] literally shot the whole campaign in a Michigan house I got for my mom. Some shots in front of my 1964 Buick LeSabre…I still have best friends who I’ve been friends with since I was 12,” added Nicole.
Todd Patrick’s full SS23 collection and campaign (plus order placement) can be accessed via the brand’s website.
Elsewhere in fashion, Montblanc launched its “Extreme 3.0” collection for summer 2022.
