Julianne Hough stepped out in style for her final matinee performance of “POTUS.”
The Broadway star strolled through New York’s Greenwich Village on Saturday afternoon wearing a white t-shirt and tan leather shorts. Adding an extra layer to her look was a cream strapless bustier top with allover ruching and a diamond shaped front cutout. Hough’s outfit was completed with dainty gold hoop earrings, as well as a black leather Bottega Veneta belt and a padded woven Cassette shoulder bag.
The “Footloose” actress’ ensemble was bolstered by a pair of soft leather mules, also from Bottega Veneta. Its black $920 Stretch Style included open square toes with textured rubber soles. A set of 4-inch stilettos completed the style, giving her a sleek finish that perfectly matched her accessories for a cohesive look.
Mules like Hough’s are a summer trend, due to the current high heel revival and a widespread penchant for ’90s and early ’00s style. The square-toed silhouette is renowned for its ease of slip on and off, with on-trend stiletto and flare styles seen in new collections from Vince Camuto, Sam Edelman and Tony Bianco.
As for shoes, the “Safe Haven” actress often wears strappy sandals and pointy-toe pumps from affordable brands Femme LA, Kurt Geiger and Free People. Off duty, her looks include flats, closed-toe mules and heeled sandals by Kate Spade and Franco Sarto. She can also be seen in a range of sports sneakers from Hoka, Under Armor and other brands.
