London-based luxury leather goods brand Carl Friedrick was launched with luggage and accessories retailer Case London.
The travel brand’s collection of leather suitcases and accessories will now be available for purchase at Case’s Piccadilly flagship, as well as at its concession in Harrods and the airside store at Heathrow Terminal 2.
Founded in 2012 by Swedish brothers Mattis and Niklas Oppermann, Carl Friedrik’s luxury travel goods are crafted from lightweight polycarbonate as well as Italian cowhide leather. The brand launched a new collection of premium five-piece Rover bags in Julywith luxurious and soft nubuck parts.
The collaboration with Case marks a new direction for Carl Friedrik, which operates primarily through its D2C channel. The brand said the move will benefit consumers by giving them the opportunity to experience Carl Friedrik’s luxury luggage and accessories before purchasing them.
Niklas Oppermann, co-founder of Carl Friedrik, said: “We are delighted to have a store of the caliber of Case offering our travel accessories. More potential customers will be able to experience the brand and get a sense of the quality and fine craftsmanship that sums up our offering.”
Over the years, Case has developed a strong presence and knowledge of the industry, with a presence in Harrods luxury department stores, as well as Heathrow and Gatwick airports.
Nic Crossick, Managing Director of Case, added: “Carl Friedrik is a brand that we have seen grow over the past few years and we are delighted to be showcasing the brand both in-store and online. Their products have great design aesthetics with great value for money. As always, we seek out the best in class products and believe Carl Friedrik aligns with our philosophy.”
