Kilmyshall shares the pot
Split-the-pot Kilmyshall wraps are available from HWH Shop, Steemers, Cahill’s hardware, D&M Laundrette, Glanbia, Redmond’s Bar, Byrnes Hardware Ryland Lower, Kilmyshall Parish Office and Kilmyshall School.
The pot is shared between Kilmyshall School and the parish. The draw takes place every Friday. Your continued support is greatly appreciated.

Buggy walking group
A buggy walking group began meeting in Bunclody on Mondays from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. The day may vary depending on availability and weather and will only meet during school terms.
This group is for parents, guardians, childminders and their little ones from 0 to 3 years old in Bunclody and the surrounding area. The walking route will vary each week for more variety and fun. Bunclody Vocational College Split-the-Pot
The next split pot draw will take place on Thursday, October 13. The most recent winner is Anne Murphy, who won €58.

Used clothing collection
A used clothing collection takes place at the school on Tuesday, November 21. Items accepted: clothes, shoes, bags, belts, curtains, etc. Items not accepted: pillows or duvets. Those who donate five or more half-filled bags will be entered into a raffle for a €100 One 4 All gift card.
There were no jackpot winners from last week’s Half-Way-House/Bunclody GAA Club Lotto draw. The numbers drawn were 3, 14, 17 and 26. Five winners of match three each receive €20. They were Mark Sheehan, Alison Sheehan, Steven Fleming, Liz Dwyer and James L Farrell.
The next draw will take place on Monday, October 10 at Redmond’s Bar when the jackpot will be €5,400.
Parents and toddlers group
The Bunclody Baby and Toddler group resumed after summer vacation. They meet on Wednesday mornings from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. The group will meet at the Pastoral Center at the rear of Most Holy Trinity Church, Bunclody each week until the end of June 2023 during term time. The “Monday Club” resumed after the summer vacation and meets at the Bunclody Day Care Center beginning at 10 a.m. each Monday.

The mall market
The Mall Market, Bunclody’s Street Market, is open every Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., rain or shine. The market has a lot to offer, lovely homemade jams, baked breads and cakes, soaps, candles, hand knitted items, baby cardigans and toys, handmade soft toys by Ella , beautiful women’s tops made by Pat, Niall Toner leather handbags and other leather goods. including guitar straps, leather belts, etc., bric-a-brac, books, bric-a-brac and all kinds. There are also beautiful hanging baskets, flowers and planters, children’s toys and Siobhán, who makes lovely prints for special occasions.
Kudos to those in the market who are already putting on shows and earning all around them with jams and crocheted pastries. We are a group that really enjoys chatting with anyone who calls us. Thank you to those who support us.
Hot meals delivered
The Bunclody Meals on Wheels service is looking for volunteers to help deliver a hot lunch to people living in the general Bunclody area. People with an availability between 12:30 p.m. and 2 p.m. on a Monday, Wednesday or Friday are urgently needed. Toddler story time is every Wednesday morning at 11 a.m. Come to Bunclody Library for many songs and stories. Perfect for preschoolers. No need to book.

Sensory Silence Hour: Every Saturday from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., an hour of sensory silence is observed in the library.

Home Energy Kit Now Available at Bunclody Library: Our new Home Energy Saving Kit is now available to borrow from the Bunclody Library. This kit contains a range of tools/exercises to help households understand the energy they use on a daily basis and identify any issues. The Holy Trinity Church Choir took over the singing at Masses and other church services.
Rehearsals take place every Tuesday evening at 7:30 p.m. in the Church of the Most Holy Trinity. New male and female members are needed and will be warmly welcomed.
